You can now fly direct to Siquijor with Sunlight Air beginning December
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — This December marks a new chapter for travel to Siquijor, as Sunlight Air introduces direct flights to the famed island. Previously, visitors had to fly to Dumaguete and board a ferry to reach Siquijor Port—a trip that could be time-consuming and logistically challenging. This all changes thanks to the Provincial Government of Siquijor, led by Honorable Jake Vincent Villa, and supportive local government units. Through their partnership with Sunlight Air, travelers will soon be able to access Siquijor directly via its newly upgraded airport, featuring modern amenities and improved passenger facilities.
Siquijor, celebrated for its pristine white-sand beaches, stunning natural attractions like Cambugahay Falls, and deeply rooted folklore and history, stands out as a top Philippine destination. With the new direct flights, travelers from Cebu can fly straight to the island starting December 15, while passengers from Manila and Clark can book connecting flights through Sunlight Air. This development is expected to spur tourism, boost local businesses, and allow more visitors to experience Siquijor’s magical charm.
