Biking is an incredible way to explore a city, especially at your own pace. It offers both comfort and flexibility, what else anybody wants while travelling. But not every city is designed with a cyclist’s mindset. That’s why we’ve come up with a list of the top 10 e-bike-friendly destinations. Whether you’re looking for scenic trails, urban streets, or cultural landmarks we got you covered.
Many European countries are an ideal destination for e-bike enthusiasts, particularly Amsterdam (No intro needed I guess).
Meanwhile, the U.S. is catching up fast! Cities across the country are adapting to biking culture, not just to ease traffic congestion but also to promote sustainability. California was the first state who involved in the movement and offered their citizens incentives like tax credits on the purchase of e-bikes to encourage people.
Before you look at the list, I would like to give some tips that you can apply and make your trip better.
- Don’t hesitate to ask locals for hidden biking trails.
- Look for a Social biking group.
- Try not to rent a common tourist ebike that will make you feel like a local.
- Go there where eateries are easily accessible while biking.
All of the destinations on this list are safe and ready for biking audiences.

Copenhagen is almost similar to Amsterdam, the only difference that I found out is Amsterdam is more close to nature whereas Copenhagen has a more urban touch. The good thing about this city has a separate lane for bikes from the main traffic lane so you won’t be stuck in traffic with other vehicles.
Places that you should visit as a traveller are Green Path (Grønne Sti), a scenic 10-kilometer route through parks and residential areas that lets you experience the city’s green spaces.

Japan is famous for its culture and preserving nature, their quiet nature shows how much they prefer biking rather than motor vehicles.

Exploring Vancouver via cycling is so relaxing because of the city’s traffic. While I was riding in the city I asked people around there how convenient you find biking here and to my surprise I found many people who shifted from small cities or towns sold their cars and owned bikes for daily commutes, how crazy is that.
The city has a great cycling infrastructure, stanley park’s Seawall is a must-do route, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline, mountains, and ocean. You can also explore Granville Island, Kitsilano Beach, and other neighbourhoods with ease.
The only downside is unpredictable weather. Sometimes it’s hard to take out the cycle and go for a ride. June to September are the best months for visiting Canada.

Denver City has quite a lot of paved paths and ebike rental shops. If you have a good budget, you can stay in downtown and take bikes from REI. Afterwards, you can ride in each direction daily to cover amazing nature trails. Here are my recommendations to visit in Denver are, the famous Cherry Creek biking trail, South Platte, Clear Creek, and US-36. Four to five days would be enough to explore the city, and I know will enjoy a lot.
Kyoto and Amsterdam are my favourite holiday places among these. It’s so fun riding an e-bike between the scenic beauty of nature. I definitely enjoyed my rides and now it’s your time to go and explore the world the way you want.
