Recently, I was delighted to receive an email from the CEO & Co-Founder of My Stories Matter, inviting me to put together some of our most favorite “Travel Memories” into a hard cover keepsake.

About Arnie Papp – CEO & Co-Founder
Born in Perth, Australia, Arnie has spent much of his life exploring the world. In his 20s, he backpacked solo around the world for 2 1⁄2 years. With impeccable timing, he arrived in Tehran a week before the Iranian Revolution. Believing he was bulletproof, though later realizing he was just lucky, he stayed for nine months and eventually escaped after the revolution.
He also lived 12 years in Japan, and has called California home since 1998.
Altogether, Arnie has traveled to nearly 70 countries, including a year-long round-the-world trip with his wife and two young sons after leaving Japan in 1997. He still enjoys annual overseas trips with his adult sons, believing in giving them experiences rather than things. He documents his travels in books he hopes his future grandchildren will enjoy.
This passion for capturing memories inspired him to create My Stories Matter, helping people around the world turn their life stories into beautiful hardcover legacy keepsakes for their families to treasure.
