Jadro is a restaurant in Ljubljana’s old town. Run by chef Dalibor Milenković. It is one of 3 high-end restaurants with fish/seafood in the city, the other two being Gostilna Krpan (my experience) and Operna klet (my experience). On Friday, after work, I went there for lunch. The place was relatively empty, so I chose a table close to the entrance.

To order the whole fish would be too much for one person; 1kg was the smallest. I opted for a tuna steak (29€). It was prepared with cheddar sauce and cherry tomatoes with some oil. I drank mineral water (2,5€).

The meat was grilled nicely, and the sauce was unexpected, but it turned out to be a great combination. Everything was as expected: nice interior, good service, tasty food, and high prices.
