I had rough few months and no concerts in that time. One day I got enopught went to Ortobar page and bought tickets for 6 different concerts (91€). First was Adi Smolar. I didn’t hear him performe lives ince student days. After work quick stop at home to eat something and I moved to Ortobar. Beer was 4.5€
Adi Smolar – Ortobar 2025
Adi came on stage a bit after 20h, skiny figure with bunch of hair and guitar in his hand. His songs was slow in rythm and message in the end. Started with few last known songs before moving to his hits. He brought few soap bubble wands and spread them among fans. People from all age groups gather there, some 200+ I would say. He connected well with fans. There was some moments, like cramp in his finger and him taking Magnesium, signing on CD during concert, some stories acompaning song. He is on stage since 1981.
All in all it was nice concert, not to stressfull and as author mentioned his songs are for daily use. After concert I joined Janez from vollyball days and his coworkers for a beer. I went back inside to visit toilet and on my way saw Adi still taking selfies and signing items to fans. I just shook his hand and exchanged few words. It was time to return back home.
